A public service announcement about and from NY City

I would like to share this information with my readers…some of you may actually live in NY and need to know this.

This Council Member is a personal friend and besides this statement I also received a noticed that his office is distributing free water and basic hygiene supplies starting tomorrow…

May all the Gods and Goddesses remember these folks…

New York City Public Schools will be closed. Parks closed for safety.

RFK Triborough, Henry Hudson and the East River Bridges restricted to High Occupancy Vehicles (3 or more) 6 a.m. to midnight both days

Queens Midtown, Brooklyn Battery tunnels are closed.
LIRR and bus service are being restored. Limited subway and Metro North service expected tomorrow.

Federal Disaster Assistance is available for business, homeowners and renters. Click here or call

The city has put together a package of support for businesses affected by the storm. This includes emergency loans, tax relief, temporary space and more. Agricultural coops and all non-profits also qualify. Click here or call 311.

In Queens, Con Edison is distributing dry ice at
121-10 Rockaway Blvd. in South Ozone Park.
